Hyperliquid Joins Nasdaq CME Crypto Index with 3.36% Weighting

Hyperliquid (HYPE) has been added to the Nasdaq CME Crypto Index ETF, which tracks major cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin and XRP. The inclusion of HYPE expands the fund's portfolio from eight to nine assets and gives it a 3.36% weighting.

This move is seen as an effort by Hyperliquid to increase access to U.S. investors amid evolving regulatory frameworks. By being part of a regulated investment channel, HYPE gains visibility among traditional and institutional investors.

Hashdex, the issuer of the ETF, has adopted a rules-based approach to adapting to the changing crypto market. The addition of HYPE reflects this strategy, allowing the fund to respond to shifts in market conditions.
