The decentralized crypto exchange (DEX) Hyperliquid has taken the lead in daily trading volumes, surpassing Coinbase's on Monday. According to data from Artemis, Hyperliquid processed approximately $2.6 trillion in notional trading volume, nearly double the $1.4 trillion traded by Coinbase during the same session.

The success of Hyperliquid can be attributed to its competitive fee structures, efficient execution models, and emphasis on transparency within the decentralized finance (DeFi) infrastructure. As a result, the native token behind the DEX, HYPE, has gained more than 14% this year, while COIN's stock has dipped over 27%, marking a performance gap of 41%.

However, retail sentiment around COIN's stock on Stocktwits remains 'extremely bullish', with some users anticipating a rally ahead of the company's upcoming fourth-quarter earnings. One user forecasted a comeback for COIN's stock after its recent drop of over 10%, while another anticipated 'choppy waters' due to the delayed CLARITY Bill markup and accompanying fallout between CEO Brian Armstrong and Washington.
