Hyperliquid Seeks US Comeback via Regulated Perpetual Futures Deal
Hyperliquid Labs is in advanced talks with Payward to offer regulated perpetual futures to US traders. This move would allow American customers to access selected crypto-linked perpetual contracts built on Hyperliquid's infrastructure through Payward's Bitnomial exchange and clearinghouse.
The proposed arrangement has already been submitted to the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC). If approved, it would give Hyperliquid a regulated pathway back into the US derivatives market. Currently, the platform restricts US users from its main trading interface.
Perpetual futures are widely traded in the US derivatives market, and approval of this proposal could boost adoption and liquidity for Hyperliquid's perpetual contracts across both DeFi and CEX markets.
