Hyperliquid Sees Real-World Assets Outpace Crypto Transactions
Hyperliquid, a decentralized perpetuals exchange, has reported a significant shift in its dynamics. According to a recent tweet by @laurashin, real-world assets (RWAs) surpassed crypto transactions for the first time in a single week on the platform.
The RWA volume accounted for 61% of individual stocks traded during the week of July 13 to 19, 2026. Hyperliquid's RWAs generated $25.1 billion out of a total $48.2 billion in weekly trading volume.
This development reflects a broader trend in decentralized exchanges, where Hyperliquid has captured a significant portion of the market.
