Hyperliquid Set to Surge 18% on October 3 with AQAv2 Revenue Boost
The Hyperliquid protocol is gearing up for a significant boost in revenue, thanks to its upcoming Aligned Quote Assets v2 (AQAv2) framework. Set to launch on October 3, 2026, AQAv2 will begin generating cash flow to the Assistance Fund, which is responsible for HYPE buybacks.
The deal, made with USDC issuer Circle and treasury deployer Coinbase in May 14, 2026, involves USDC taking the place of Hyperliquid's official stablecoin, USDH. As a result, ~90% of the reserve yield generated by USDC deposits on Hyperliquid will be shared with the protocol.
According to projections, AQAv2 could add $498,575 in daily revenue for additional HYPE buybacks, or $182M in annual revenue. This represents an 18.06% increase in the protocol's expected revenue.
