Hyperliquid Spot ETF Leads Major Cryptocurrencies in Inflows
Hyperliquid's Spot ETF (HYPE) has been attracting significant investor interest in recent months, outperforming major cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin and Ethereum. According to a report, HYPE has seen more inflows relative to its market capitalization than these popular assets, signaling strong demand for smaller cryptocurrencies. Since its launch in May 2026, HYPE's price has risen from $38 to $54.74, driven largely by ETF inflows.
Despite a recent price dip, the fund's inflow-to-market-cap ratio remains high, highlighting its rapid capital growth. In contrast, Bitcoin and Ethereum ETFs have shown steady institutional demand and occasional spikes in interest, respectively. However, some analysts caution that recent token sales and reduced capital deployment may lead to short-term volatility.
The report also notes that HYPE's price is approaching a critical resistance at $64 within a falling wedge pattern, which could potentially trigger a bullish reversal. Meanwhile, the cryptocurrency market remains mixed, with Shiba Inu showing signs of recovery and Chainlink rebounding from recent losses.
