Hyperliquid Strategies Doubles Equity Facility Amid US Market Talks
Hyperliquid Strategies has expanded its equity facility to $2.5 billion as it advances talks for market entry in the US through a potential deal with Kraken's parent company Payward.
The expansion of the committed equity facility, which is part of an amended agreement with Chardan Capital Markets, allows Hyperliquid to sell newly issued common stock and raise funds for its HYPE treasury. This comes as the company has already sold around $647 million worth of shares under the original facility as of June 30.
The increased equity facility will help support Hyperliquid's growing demand, particularly in the US market where it currently has no access despite handling over $4 billion in daily trading volume globally. A successful arrangement with Payward could pave the way for other offshore crypto platforms seeking a compliant US entry.
