Hyperliquid Token Price Resilient Amid Whale Caution and ETF Accumulation
The Hyperliquid token price has shown resilience despite a whale moving funds to exchanges. The token moved between $81.66 and $85.94 during the session, reflecting steady institutional demand from ETFs. Bitwise's HYPE-linked funds have not logged a single day of net outflows in nearly two weeks.
According to CoinGecko figures, Hyperliquid's market cap stood at $19.059 billion, with a fully diluted valuation of $81.848 billion. The token's price has been influenced by the contrast between whale caution and steady institutional demand.
Arkham Intelligence reported that Bitwise's three HYPE-linked products have not recorded one day of net selling since August 20. BHYP clients alone bought $10.5 million worth of $HYPE on Friday, with total ETF inflows totalling $64 million over the stretch and $363 million since launch.
However, a wallet tied to Galaxy Digital moved 95,270 $HYPE, worth roughly $8.1 million, to two exchanges over a four-hour window on September 9. This kind of HYPE whale movement is one of the clearest on-chain signals traders watch for, since it often shows up before spot selling pressure builds.
