Hyperliquid Whales Fuel Uptrend with Aggressive Buying and Selling
Hyperliquid (HYPE) has demonstrated strong upward momentum, holding within an ascending channel despite retracing to $76. The altcoin flipped $80 and jumped to $83 before a slight pullback, currently trading at around $81.60 with 1.12% gains, adding to its 40% weekly increase.
Whale activity has intensified on both the demand and sell sides, with big whale orders suggesting aggressive buying or selling. According to CryptoQuant's spot average order size data, a higher whale resistance level is at $82.
Two whales have resumed accumulating HYPE, withdrawing 107,090 tokens worth $8.7 million from exchanges. One wallet holds 1.36 million HYPE worth $95.6 million at an average price of $70, while another withdrew 27.29k HYPE worth $2.23 million from OKX.
On the sell side, a whale sold all 301,937 HYPE worth $24.4 million, making over $5.3 million in profit. Exchange activity suggests selling pressure is being absorbed by buying, keeping the altcoin's bullish momentum intact despite bears still controlling the market.
