Hyperliquid's ETF Surpasses Bitcoin and Ethereum in Inflows
Hyperliquid's ETF momentum has been gaining attention in recent times, with its inflows surpassing those of other cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin and Ethereum. According to a Grayscale analysis, on a market cap basis, $HYPE ETF flows have been rising compared to other popular assets.
This trend highlights the impact that smaller cryptocurrencies can have despite attracting less capital overall. The analysis also notes that investors are becoming more open to diversifying into large-cap alternative cryptocurrencies in addition to Bitcoin and Ethereum.
Hyperliquid's ETF growth continued even as its token price dropped 9.22% over the previous day, trading at $54.74. However, this drop may be due to short-term factors such as Bitwise reducing its holdings by selling another 117,917 $HYPE tokens worth approximately $7.05 million.
Despite the recent price drop, Hyperliquid's ETF has played a major role in driving up the price of the altcoin, which has risen from $38 to $54 since the launch of its Spot ETF in May 2026.
