Hyperliquid's Revenue Growth Halted by Institutional Selling Pressure
Hyperliquid's innovative approach to generating revenue is gaining momentum, with its protocol processing $196.3 billion in perpetual trading volume since April and producing $53.77 million in fees and $37.46 million in protocol revenue.
The exchange's new priority fee system allows traders to pay extra for faster execution, which has generated $5.07 million since April, including $2.75 million in the past 30 days, with annualized revenue reaching $33.5 million.
However, despite Hyperliquid's improving revenue fundamentals, institutional selling pressure persists, with recent on-chain transfers showing Multicoin Capital and Bitwise depositing a combined $8.7 million worth of HYPE into exchange wallets.
