Hyperscale Data Converts 100 BTC to Fund Michigan AI Campus

Hyperscale Data, a publicly traded Bitcoin miner, has begun converting part of its BTC treasury into construction capital. The company sold approximately 100 BTC from its $71M treasury and secured a BTC-backed credit line to fund an AI data center campus in Michigan.

The sale proceeds are being used to cover construction costs and purchase infrastructure and long-lead equipment for the Michigan campus. According to CEO William Horne, this move reflects a deliberate shift in how the company allocates its balance sheet, not a change in its view on Bitcoin.

Hyperscale Data still holds approximately 1,006 BTC after the sale, placing it 44th among publicly traded corporate Bitcoin holders. The Michigan campus is being built to fulfill a master services agreement with an unnamed neo-cloud AI infrastructure provider.
