Hyperscale Data Sells 100 Bitcoin to Fuel Michigan AI Data Center
Hyperscale Data, a company previously known as Ault Alliance, has sold approximately 100 BTC to fund construction of its Michigan AI data center.
The proceeds from the sale will be used to purchase critical infrastructure and long-lead equipment for the campus, which is expected to support about 20 megawatts of AI compute capacity under a previously announced master services agreement with an unnamed AI infrastructure provider.
The agreement includes two optional five-year extensions and is expected to generate more than $1.2 billion in revenue if fully exercised, with the potential to exceed $3 billion if the additional 32 MW expansion option is exercised and maintained through the extension periods.
Hyperscale Data also secured a Bitcoin-backed credit facility at variable interest rates of about 4.5% to 5.0%, providing financing for the project.
