Hyperscale Data Sells 100 Bitcoin to Fuel Michigan Campus Development
Hyperscale Data Inc., a company involved in data processing and AI services, has made significant strides in its Michigan campus development. To accelerate construction, the company sold approximately 100 Bitcoin for around $6.48 million at current prices. This sale is part of Hyperscale Data's strategy to balance its Bitcoin holdings with investments in high-return infrastructure projects.
The funds generated from the sale will be directed towards equipment purchases, site development, and other long-lead infrastructure needs. These investments will support an existing agreement with a leading neo-cloud infrastructure provider, enabling faster development across the Michigan site and increased computing capacity.
The company has entered into an initial services agreement covering about 20 megawatts of critical compute capacity at the Michigan campus. This contract spans ten years and includes optional five-year extensions. If fully extended, it could generate more than $1.2 billion in total revenue.
