Hyperscale Data Sells 65 Bitcoin, Holds $16.7 Million Worth
Hyperscale Data, Inc., a company that operates through its subsidiary Sentinum, has made a significant move in its bitcoin holdings. According to a press release statement, the company held approximately $16.7 million worth of bitcoin as of August 30, 2026.
The valuation is based on bitcoin's closing price of $77,668 on that date, which was used to calculate the total value of the company's holdings at 214.9701 bitcoins.
Hyperscale Data sold approximately 65 bitcoins in the open market during the week ended August 30, 2026, generating around $5.1 million in proceeds. The sale is intended to provide additional capital for the continued development of the company's Michigan data center.
Milton 'Todd' Ault III, Executive Chairman of Hyperscale Data, highlighted the significance of the sale, stating that it provides capital to support the development of the data center. He referenced a Master Services Agreement representing approximately $1.2 billion of contracted value and noted expansion options that could bring the contracted value to over $3 billion while representing around 20% of the Michigan data center's potential 340 megawatt power capacity.
