Hyperscale Data Sells 65 Bitcoin, Holds onto $16.7 Million in Holdings
Hyperscale Data, Inc., a company with significant holdings in Bitcoin, has made a notable move by selling approximately 65 BTC. The sale generated around $5.1 million in proceeds, according to a recent press release statement.
The company held 214.9701 BTC as of August 30, 2026, and the valuation is based on the market price at that time. This figure represents the combined holdings of Hyperscale Data's wholly owned subsidiaries, Sentinum, Inc., and Ault Capital Group, Inc.
Milton 'Todd' Ault III, Executive Chairman of Hyperscale Data, stated that the bitcoin sale will provide additional capital to support the continued development of the company's Michigan data center. The data center, operated through Sentinum, offers digital asset mining and colocation services.
Hyperscale Data is working towards expanding its operations, with a Master Services Agreement representing approximately $1.2 billion of contracted value. This agreement has options that could bring the contracted value to over $3 billion, indicating significant potential for growth in the company's Michigan data center.
