Hyperscale Data Sells 65 Bitcoins, Holds onto Valued Portfolio
Hyperscale Data, Inc., a company operating through its subsidiary Sentinum, has made significant moves in its digital asset portfolio. According to a recent press release statement, the company held 214.9701 Bitcoin valued at approximately $16.7 million as of August 30, 2026.
The valuation is based on Bitcoin's closing price of $77,668 on that date. This means that Hyperscale Data sold around 65 Bitcoins in the open market during the week ended August 30, generating approximately $5.1 million in proceeds.
Milton 'Todd' Ault III, Executive Chairman of Hyperscale Data, stated that the sale provides additional capital to support the continued development of the company's Michigan data center. He referenced a Master Services Agreement representing approximately $1.2 billion of contracted value and noted expansion options that could bring the contracted value to over $3 billion.
Hyperscale Data operates through its subsidiary Sentinum, which owns and operates a data center for digital asset mining and offers colocation and hosting services. The company expects to divest its subsidiary Ault Capital Group in 2027.
