Hyperscale Data Sells 685 Bitcoin for $43 Million to Fuel Michigan Data Center Expansion
Hyperscale Data, a Las Vegas-based company that trades on the NYSE American under the ticker GPUS, has sold most of its Bitcoin holdings to fund the expansion of its Michigan data center. The sale included approximately 685 BTC for around $43 million.
The company plans to use the proceeds primarily to continue developing and expanding the Michigan facility, which is central to Hyperscale's shift toward AI infrastructure. It has also reduced its debt by about $30 million.
'We have built a substantial Bitcoin position, and today we have the ability to convert a portion of that highly liquid asset into capital that can accelerate the development of one of the most important assets in our portfolio,' said Executive Chairman Milton Ault.
