Hyperscale Data Sells 685 Bitcoin for $43M, Focuses on Michigan Data Center
Hyperscale Data has made a significant move in its financial strategy by selling approximately 685 Bitcoin, generating around $43 million in cash. This sale is aimed at supporting the development and expansion of its Michigan data center as well as strengthening its capital structure.
The company retains about 275 Bitcoin, indicating that it will continue to prioritize Bitcoin mining and accumulation over time. This move reflects a strategic decision to allocate capital efficiently and focus on key areas such as data center growth while maintaining significant exposure to digital assets.
Hyperscale Data also announced plans to divest its private equity arm, Ault Capital Group, by 2027, further streamlining its operations and allowing it to concentrate on data center operations and digital assets.
