Hyperscale Data Sells 685 BTC for $43 Million to Fund Michigan Data Center
Hyperscale Data, Inc., a Bitcoin mining company listed on the NYSE American, has sold approximately 685 BTC for about $43 million. The sale is part of the company's strategy to redirect capital towards its Michigan data center and broader corporate needs.
The majority of the proceeds will fund the continued development and expansion of the Michigan facility, while a portion will provide additional flexibility for debt management, equity considerations, and the company's overall capital structure. This transaction is framed as a strategic capital allocation decision rather than a retreat from Bitcoin.
'Bitcoin has been an important part of Hyperscale Data's strategy and we expect it to remain an important part of our strategy going forward,' said Executive Chairman Milton 'Todd' Ault III. The company intends to continue mining Bitcoin, with the goal of rebuilding its holdings through production over time.
