Hyperscale Data Sells 685 BTC for $43M, Cuts Debt
Hyperscale Data, an AI data center operator anchored by Bitcoin, has sold about 685 BTC for roughly $43 million. The company used part of the cash to cut its corporate debt by around $30 million and earmarked the remainder for development and expansion at its Michigan data center.
The sale is a strategic move for Hyperscale, allowing it to allocate capital effectively and fund key projects. Executive Chairman Milton Ault III described the company's treasury as a highly liquid asset that can be converted into capital for important portfolio initiatives.
Hyperscale expects to continue mining Bitcoin and rebuild its position over time, with the pace depending on production, Bitcoin prices, liquidity needs, and market conditions.
