Hyperscale Sells 686 BTC to Clear Loans, Still Faces Funding Gaps
Hyperscale Data, a company involved in AI and data storage, has sold approximately 686 Bitcoin for about $43.4 million to clear loans and repay its outstanding debt on Morpho, a decentralized lending protocol.
The sale removed the immediate collateral risk and cleared the pledged collateral, but liquidity remains insufficient to cover operating requirements, obligations, and planned capital expenditures for the next 12 months.
Hyperscale still needs more than $100 million to fund its Michigan AI build, which it expects will require significant investment over time. The company's going-concern warning also persists.
