IBKR Stock Dips on Expanded AI Platform Integration
Interactive Brokers (IBKR) stock declined by 1.97% to close at $90.45 following the announcement of its expanded AI platform integration capabilities.
The brokerage firm has broadened its support for artificial intelligence tools, enabling account holders to integrate their accounts with various compatible applications beyond the initially approved channels.
This expansion includes compatibility with Cursor, Claude Code, Perplexity, and Windsurf platforms, among others, through the Model Context Protocol framework.
The upgraded AI connectivity enables linked applications to analyze investment portfolios and conduct market research through conversational language queries, while also assessing portfolio risk factors and developing trade instructions prior to order submission.
Interactive Brokers emphasizes that account holders maintain control over which data connected applications may retrieve, with secure authentication procedures in place before authorizing access to individual accounts.
