Laurence Willows has left his role as Head of Business Development, Digital Assets, US at IG Group and tastytrade after nearly seven years with the companies. He announced his departure on LinkedIn, stating that he had 'moved on from IG / tastytrade this summer'.

In his most recent position, Willows focused on developing tastytrade's US crypto business and the self-custody wallet tastycrypto. He joined IG Group as an Internal Audit Associate in London and spent nearly two years in the role before moving into digital assets.

Tastytrade has been expanding its cryptocurrency offerings, adding Bitcoin and XRP through Zero Hash last year. The platform also increased its available cryptocurrencies from four to 23 and recorded 9,700 active monthly crypto traders.
