India Blocks Access to 15 Cryptocurrency Platforms for AML Non-Compliance
India's Financial Intelligence Unit (FIU-IND) has issued a list of 15 cryptocurrency platforms that fail to comply with anti-money laundering regulations. The restricted websites and applications include Weex, BloFin, Rezorex, Bitunix, DigiFinex, Toobit, XT.com, Latoken, WOO X, Pionex, ChangeNOW, SimpleSwap, FixedFloat, WhiteBIT, and Guardarian.
The agency has called for restriction of access to these platforms in India, citing non-compliance with AML regulations. The requirements include registration with FIU-IND, maintaining transaction records, and providing necessary reports for all cryptocurrency services operating with Indian users.
