India's Crypto Investors Shift Focus from Speculation to Long-Term Wealth Building
India's crypto investors are moving beyond speculation and chasing the next big token. A growing number of investors are adopting systematic approaches, such as recurring SIPs (Systematic Investment Plans) and long-term holding. This shift is driven by reduced entry barriers, simplified access to global assets, and increased transparency in the ecosystem.
The crypto market in India is maturing at a rapid pace, with crypto SIPs growing by over 60% year-on-year in 2025. The objective of investors has shifted from predicting the perfect price to building a position consistently through rupee-cost averaging. This approach helps spread purchases across different price points, reducing the need for large investments.
The transition is reminiscent of India's mutual fund industry, which also started with speculation and stock tips but eventually adopted systematic investing. The familiarity of monthly investing, automated deductions, and long-term wealth creation has made it easier for investors to apply these principles to crypto.
