India's economy is growing rapidly, with a GDP increase of 7.8% in the April to June quarter of FY27.

This growth has not translated into household wealth, however, as per capita income remains low at around $2,810.

Despite this, India leads global crypto adoption, with over 68 million BTC holders and more than 100 million crypto users driving demand for Bitcoin (BTC).

Youthful investors are fueling fresh crypto adoption in India, with almost 75% of investors aged 35 or below and 18-25 year olds accounting for 54.4% of new investors.
