Injective and POSCO Complete Blockchain Trade Finance Pilot
South Korea's POSCO International and LG CNS have successfully completed a proof-of-concept pilot on Injective's Layer-1 blockchain, tokenizing real trade receivables in a live on-chain transaction. The pilot used actual commercial trade data and demonstrated the suitability of Injective's compliance-native architecture for regulated finance.
The framework being tested combines AI, blockchain, and shared ledgers to tackle trade finance reconciliation, aiming to compress the process significantly and improve working capital management across POSCO's global network.
In a statement, POSCO President Lee Gye-in said that the pilot 'validated the applicability of AI and blockchain technology.' Injective co-founder Eric Chen added that the pilot demonstrated the chain's ability to embed compliance and ownership rules at the protocol level, making it suitable for regulated finance conducted on-chain.
