Injective Breaks Ground with US SEC Transfer Agent Registration

Injective's affiliate Injective Institutional has secured registration as a transfer agent with the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). This breakthrough comes on the back of recent regulatory developments in the US, pushing the INJ price up by nearly 9% to $4.40.

The registration gives Injective a stronger position in the growing tokenization market, enabling it to maintain official ownership records for securities and process changes in those records. This adds a regulated recordkeeping function to its existing blockchain infrastructure.

Injective Institutional Services now operates within the federal framework governing transfer agents, addressing a major challenge for tokenized securities by bringing functions closer together while supporting token issuance, transfers, administration, and settlement.
