Injective (INJ) Surges Amid Record Staking and Community Buyback
Injective (INJ) is showing signs of recovery after achieving record staking levels and successfully implementing its Community Buyback program. On September 7, Injective reached a new all-time high in total staked INJ tokens with over 58.8 million locked on-chain.
The protocol also finalized its September Community Buyback initiative, eliminating 25,200 INJ tokens from circulation. This move is part of the platform's tokenomics framework aimed at reducing supply and promoting a favorable supply-demand balance.
Market activity has been substantial, with trading volume increasing by 44.18% to $138.55 million and open interest expanding by 4.88% to $97.84 million. Analysts observe that INJ's price is currently hovering around the $5.30 level, which they consider a crucial support threshold.
According to crypto market commentator The Moon Show, Injective's higher-timeframe chart structure provides 'room to do something most people are not positioned for.' However, no explicit predictions have been made regarding INJ's price trajectory.
