Injective Protocol has successfully activated its IIP-677 mainnet upgrade to version 1.20.3, following a governance approval rate of 72% from token holders on July 29, 2026.

The centerpiece of the release is Injective Mint, a new tool that enables issuers to create tokenized equities and bonds compliant with SEC regulations.

As part of the upgrade, cross-chain interoperability has been boosted, block times have been reduced, and staking mechanics for INJ, the network's native token, have been optimized.
