Injective Surges 9-10% on Real-World Asset Tokenization News
Injective (INJ) has surged by 9-10% in the past 24 hours, largely driven by renewed interest in its role in real-world asset mortgage tokenization.
The clearest catalyst for this move is the Pineapple Financial deal, which has already migrated over $1 billion in residential mortgage records onto Injective, with plans to bring more than 29,000 mortgages worth over $10 billion onchain. Each mortgage is represented as a detailed onchain record rather than a new security.
This initiative makes Injective one of the largest layer 1 chains by real-world asset value, with the full $10 billion portfolio committed to gradual onchain migration.
The supply dynamics of INJ are also playing a role in its price movement. With over half of the total supply staked and ongoing burns, new interest can push price faster than in typical large-cap assets.
