Injective Tokenizes $1 Billion in Residential Mortgages: Pineapple Financial Paves Way for Blockchain Adoption

Pineapple Financial has tokenized over $1 billion in residential mortgages on the Injective blockchain, marking a significant milestone for asset tokenization.

The company migrated 2,079 mortgage files to the platform, representing roughly 7% of its overall portfolio valued at more than $10 billion.

This initiative provides an additional digital layer for recording and verifying relevant mortgage information without replacing or modifying the original agreements.

Pineapple Financial plans to expand its blockchain use case by developing a Mortgage Data Marketplace, which could create new ways for participants to access and utilize mortgage-related information.
