Institutional Capital Floods into Bitcoin ETFs as Wall Street Dominates Market
Institutional investors are driving Bitcoin's price momentum by pouring money into flagship products. According to recent data, U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs recorded their strongest single-session inflows in over three weeks, with $233.1 million flowing in on a single day.
The iShares Bitcoin Trust, led by BlackRock, continues to dominate the market with net inflows of $183.41 million during the late-July surge. Fidelity's Wise Origin Bitcoin Fund remains a core institutional vehicle, capturing steady capital allocations and maintaining its position alongside BlackRock at the forefront of the market.
Public market giants are transitioning from unhedged accumulation to active treasury management. Strategy Inc., formerly MicroStrategy (NASDAQ: MSTR), has confirmed total holdings of 843,775 Bitcoin in its second-quarter 2026 financial results. The company established a BTC Monetization Program and a $3.75 billion USD Reserve to cover multi-year dividend and interest obligations on its preferred equity series.
