Institutional Demand Boosts Bitcoin and Ethereum ETFs by $900 Million
A surge in institutional demand has propelled Bitcoin and Ethereum ETFs, attracting nearly $900 million in fresh capital as both cryptocurrencies break through key price levels.
CryptoSlate data showed that Bitcoin climbed above $81,000, while Ethereum topped $2,500. This influx of funds marked a significant return to US spot ETFs after several sessions of uneven flows.
The largest contributor to the Bitcoin inflows was BlackRock's IBIT, accounting for roughly 62% of the total with nearly $454 million in investments. Other prominent contributors included ARK 21Shares' ARKB and Fidelity's FBTC, which added $137.7 million and $74.4 million, respectively.
Ethereum ETF demand was similarly concentrated, with BlackRock's ETHA and Fidelity's FETH attracting a combined $137.2 million of the category's net inflow.
