Institutional Demand Floods in as $1.1 Billion Flows Into Bitcoin and Ethereum ETFs
Institutional demand for Bitcoin and Ethereum appears to be returning, as $1.1 billion in combined net inflows poured into U.S. spot ETFs last week.
The influx of capital into Bitcoin ETFs was particularly notable, with BlackRock's IBIT accounting for approximately 80% of the weekly total at around $693.5 million.
Despite these significant inflows, both Bitcoin and Ethereum prices have remained relatively flat, with Bitcoin stuck below $65,000 and Ethereum struggling to break decisively above $1,920.
The disconnect between institutional demand and price action has raised questions about the immediate impact of ETF inflows on market movement. Some experts suggest that these flows may be supporting prices, preventing a deeper correction without being large enough to overcome supply waiting near resistance.
