Institutional Investors Flock to XRP as Settlement Scenarios Gain Traction
Institutional investors are increasingly interested in XRP, according to a recent meeting of about 400 asset managers. The digital asset received more questions than any other topic discussed, including Bitcoin and Ethereum.
The interest in XRP is largely due to its practical applications, such as fast transfers and low fees, which make it an attractive candidate for settlement scenarios. In contrast to Bitcoin, which is seen as a major market benchmark, and Ethereum, around which many applications are built, XRP stands out specifically for its payment purpose.
In the past 11 trading sessions, there have been net inflows into XRP funds in the US, with about $170 million attracted during this period. Since their launch in November, total inflows have reached $1.68 billion.
