Institutional Investors Pour $1 Billion into Bitcoin ETFs Amid Market Uncertainty
Bitcoin ETFs have attracted a significant $1 billion in net inflows over three trading sessions from September 2 through September 4, despite Bitcoin struggling to stay above $80,000.
The influx of funds coincided with Federal Reserve Governor Christopher Waller's comments suggesting that policymakers might keep rates unchanged if inflation continued to improve, leading to a sharp recovery in Bitcoin's price.
BlackRock's IBIT was the largest beneficiary, attracting around $686.8 million during this period, representing two-thirds of total net inflows.
The timing and scale of these inflows suggest that institutional investors may be buying into Bitcoin ahead of a potentially market-moving Fed decision in September.
