Ionic Digital's Nasdaq Debut Brings in $2.8B Market Cap
Ionic Digital, a Bitcoin miner and AI infrastructure company linked to Celsius, made its Nasdaq debut on Tuesday.
The company's shares climbed about 26% from their opening price of $50, closing at $62.90 and giving it a market capitalization of approximately $2.8 billion based on around 44.9 million shares outstanding.
Ionic Digital was formed in 2024 to acquire Celsius Mining's assets through the bankrupt crypto lender's restructuring process.
The company has since expanded into AI and high-performance computing infrastructure, according to its registration statement filed with the US Securities and Exchange Commission.
