IPTS Snaps Up Talent Protocol with Protocol Labs' Backing
Interplanetary Talent Services (IPTS) has acquired Talent Protocol in a deal backed by Protocol Labs. The acquisition will allow IPTS to utilize a portion of Talent Protocol's reputation dataset to match builders with relevant roles and opportunities across various sectors, including AI, crypto, hardware, life sciences, and more.
The Builder Score product, which provides verifiable browser-based reputation scores for builders, will continue as a public good. This means that every score calculation will remain verifiable, and builders will be able to publish their scores as attestations on Base.
Talent Protocol's commercial operations will wind down, with the project's API, Talent+ product, and social channels scheduled to shut down at the end of August. The existing team is not joining IPTS or Protocol Labs.
