Iris Energy, formerly known as IREN Limited, reported a significant shift in its revenue streams for Q4 2026. The company's top line came in at $137.2 million, falling short of analyst estimates of around $140 million.

The decline from the previous quarter's $144.8 million was notable, representing a 26.8% drop. However, AI cloud services have become the majority revenue source for Iris Energy, accounting for $70.5 million in Q4 2026, surpassing Bitcoin mining's contribution of $66.7 million.

For the full fiscal year 2026, Iris Energy recorded a total revenue of $707 million. The company secured $2.8 billion in GPU financings to cover more than 90% of its capital expenditures for AI infrastructure expansion.

The bottom line was less impressive, with a net loss of $702.6 million for the year. Almost all of this loss, approximately $638.8 million, came from non-cash impairment charges tied to the decommissioning of Bitcoin mining equipment.
