ITS Launches Prediction Market on Bitcoin, SpaceX, and Central Bank Rates
ITS, a trading system in Kazakhstan, has launched a prediction market that allows investors to take positions on specific future events. The market began trading on September 8, 2026, during the ITS Ideas 2026 conference.
The initial contracts cover Bitcoin, SpaceX, and central bank rates. Investors can trade the probability of an event occurring, rather than just the price of an asset. For example, they can take a position on whether the National Bank of Kazakhstan's base rate will exceed 16.75% or whether the U.S. Federal Reserve's policy rate will be above a predetermined level.
The settlement value is $1 if the condition is met and $0 if it is not. This gives investors a way to separate event-specific risk from other factors that may affect their portfolio.
ITS CEO Kurmet Orazayev said, 'The launch of Prediction Market is an important stage in the development of ITS's product range and the region's financial infrastructure.'
