Japan Approves Shiba Inu as Sixth Approved Cryptocurrency

Japan's Financial Services Agency has approved a new crypto license for Laser Digital Japan, adding Shiba Inu to its list of six approved cryptocurrencies. This comes after Rakuten and Mercari's moves in the country helped grow the user base around $SHIB (0.00 · Live) significantly over the year.

The first stage of Laser Digital Japan will focus on providing corporate liquidity, followed by opening up access to companies and funds. The development follows a four-year gap since the last new crypto license was approved in Japan.
