Japanese Company Ditches Altcoins for All-in Bet on Bitcoin
Japanese company Remixpoint has made a significant shift in its digital asset strategy by selling all of its altcoin holdings and focusing on Bitcoin (BTC) exclusively. According to an announcement made on September 2nd, the company decided to reduce its assets and focus on a single digital asset.
The company held approximately 14.92 Bitcoin as of August's end, valued at around $1.026 million. In addition, Remixpoint also had Ethereum staking and Solana staking assets worth $68,400 and $118,500 respectively.
In the divestment process, the company sold a total of 901 ETH, 13,920 SOL, 1.19 million XRP, and 2.8 million DOGE, generating approximately $5.5 million in revenue with a profit of around $736,800.
