JPMorgan Accepts Bitcoin and Ethereum as Collateral
JPMorgan, one of the world's largest banks, has announced that it now accepts Bitcoin and Ethereum as collateral for its loans. This move marks a significant shift in the bank's approach to cryptocurrency.
The development is part of JPMorgan's efforts to increase access to financial services for Indonesian customers. The bank has partnered with PT Bumi Santosa Cemerlang, a financial application that offers micro-investment products and facilitates transactions on various asset classes.
According to the source, US Stocks, ETFs, and Options are facilitated by PT PG Berjangka as a Derivatives Broker, while Indonesian Stocks are licensed and supervised by the Financial Services Authority of Indonesia (OJK). Crypto Assets and Digital Financial Asset Derivatives (Crypto Futures) are facilitated by PT Bumi Santosa Cemerlang, which is also licensed and supervised by OJK.
The bank has emphasized that all investments involve risks and the possibility of a loss in investment value. Past performance is not indicative of future results, and historical performance, expected returns, and probability projections are provided for informational purposes only.
