JPMorgan Doubles Down on Bitcoin and Ethereum ETF Exposure
JPMorgan, one of the largest banks in the US with an AUM of $5.1 trillion, has revealed its Q2 SEC filing, showing a significant increase in exposure to Bitcoin and Ethereum through ETFs.
The bank's latest SEC filing indicates that JPMorgan held approximately 10.4 million shares of BlackRock's IBIT, worth around $355.7 million as of June 30. This marks a sharp rise from the previous quarter, where the bank reported about 8.3 million IBIT shares worth nearly $162 million.
JPMorgan's Ethereum exposure has also jumped significantly, with the bank holding nearly 1.17 million ETHA shares worth around $14.3 million, marking a 338% increase from the previous quarter.
The bank has returned to XRP through two ETF positions and added a new position in the Bitwise Solana Staking ETF.
