JPYC Inc., the issuer and operator of the Japanese yen-denominated stablecoin 'JPYC', has completed an extension of its Series B funding round. The company raised an additional ¥6 billion, bringing total Series B proceeds to this amount.

The funds will be used to expand JPYC's ecosystem across traditional financial services and Web3. This includes accelerating the social implementation and circulation of the JPYC stablecoin, as well as supporting new payment schemes and infrastructure connecting on-chain settlement with off-chain commerce.

AZ-COM Maruwa Holdings Co., Ltd. joined as a new investor in the Series B extension. The combination of JPYC's yen stablecoin with AZ-COM Group's logistics network is intended to form a core foundation for 'on-chain finance' that integrates commercial, logistics, and financial flows.
