Jupiter Expands Mobile App with Trading-Card Product
Jupiter, the Solana-based DeFi trading platform, is expanding its mobile app to include Gacha, a trading-card product that allows users to digitally open packs containing real graded collectible cards.
The integration means users can rip packs, manage cards and access buyback options directly within the Jupiter Mobile app. The product combines digital pack opening with physical trading cards, offering users an alternative between keeping their physical pulls or selling them back immediately.
Jupiter Gacha uses on-chain randomness to determine each pull, allowing users to verify the outcome independently. Each pulled card comes with a buyback option, giving users flexibility in managing their collectibles.
The integration removes the need for separate access to Gacha and brings it alongside other products and services within Jupiter Mobile. Thomas Stoffels, head of product at Jupiter Mobile, said the integration puts Gacha alongside the app's other offerings, allowing users to access the collectibles product without switching between apps or browser tabs.
