Justin Sun Accuses Actress of Demanding $50M for Surrogacy
Cryptocurrency entrepreneur Justin Sun has published an account of his relationship with actress Jing Tian, detailing a nineteen-year fixation that began in their university days.
The essay, titled 'My Girlfriend Jing Tian', recounts how Sun first noticed Jing Tian in 2007 from a QQ instant-messaging advertisement on an old Lenovo laptop while living in university housing that cost one thousand yuan a year. He recalls hesitating for three days over a one hundred and fifty yuan coat while she was filming projects such as The Warring States, with Sun Honglei, Wu Zhenyu, and Kim Hee-sun.
The account describes extraordinary spending: buying out cinema seats for Zootropolis 2, chartering a Gulfstream G700, booking entire hotel floors and flying a thirty-person entourage from Tenerife to the Maldives resort Soneva Jani. Sun says he proposed on 2nd January 2026 and transferred thirty million yuan in betrothal money to accounts linked to Jing Guoqing and Tian Xin'ai after she asked for traditional gifts ahead of marriage talks.
The rupture, as Sun tells it, centred on surrogacy. He says Jing Tian proposed having a child through surrogacy with a birth planned for 2027, flew to California on 28th February and took a whole floor for thirty days at Montage Laguna Beach at a cost of one million US dollars.
Sun writes that he consulted Claude, Anthropic's AI assistant, asking whether she no longer loved him and whether paying would harm his finances. The model replied that it did not understand love but insisted he should not hand over the money. After eleven seconds of silence on the call, Sun says, the relationship was over.
