Justin Sun: Bitcoin and Stablecoins Complementary Assets in Global Finance
TRON founder Justin Sun recently shared his views on Bitcoin and stablecoins at the Bitcoin Asia 2026 conference in Hong Kong. He emphasized that Bitcoin has evolved beyond its early years as an experimental technology and is now a global monetary asset and store of value.
Sun highlighted the growing role of institutional flows, derivatives, global liquidity, and macroeconomic conditions in shaping the market. He also pointed to TRON's growth, with more than $94 billion in USDT on the network, driven by real-world usage and continued growth across the ecosystem.
Sun described Bitcoin and stablecoins as complementary assets, with Bitcoin serving as a store of value while stablecoins are used for payments and settlement. He noted that TRON's sustained stablecoin activity is evidence that demand for digital dollars can remain strong regardless of broader crypto market conditions.
